Universal Day of Culture is celebrated every year on April 15.
The Universal Day of Culture under the Banner of Peace is an observance held annually on April 15th. It promotes the protection of culture, the Roerich Pact - which is the inter-American Treaty on the Protection of Artistic and Scientific Institutions and Historic Monuments - and the Banner of Peace. The UDC was proposed by the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich to encourage everyone to appreciate the national and universal treasures of humanity
