JH Virus

 

 

                                           

The "JH virus" (or J.H. strain) is a historical name for a strain of Rhinovirus, first isolated in 1956 by Dr. Winston Price at Johns Hopkins University. 

It was one of the early, major breakthroughs in identifying the primary viral cause of the common cold, leading to its designation as a new respiratory virus at the time
