Cadmium Cannot Be Used In Acadmium

   Name origin: Derived from the Latin word "cadmia",  derived from the Greek word "kadmeia", with the      region of Thebes (Cadmea) in Greece.

The toxic nature of cadmium was not well understood until the 20th century.By the 1950s, it was linked to Itai-Itai disease in Japan, caused by cadmium contamination in rice fields.
Modern usage is strictly regulated due to its carcinogenic and bioaccumulative properties.
