Ancient Athens is considered the cradle of democracy, especially under leaders like Cleisthenes (c. 508/507 BCE), often called the “Father of Athenian Democracy.”

                                                   FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE 

The idea draws from the Universal Declaration on Democracy adopted by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) on 15 September 1997.
