 (pronounced ish-ka ba-ha) is the Irish Gaelic term for whiskey, literally translating to

                                                      "water of life".

Derived from uisce ("water") and beatha ("life"), this phrase is the direct origin of the word "whiskey," which was Anglicized from the Irish term over centuries
