 Beecham Laboratories was the pharmaceutical division of the British company Beecham Group, which became famous for developing semi-synthetic penicillins, particularly ampicillin

 

Other antibiotics developed from this work include:

• Amoxicillin

• Flucloxacillin

These drugs became some of the most widely used antibiotics worldwide.
