International Sarcoma Day

 In 1921, James Ewing described Ewing sarcoma as a distinct primary malignant bone tumor. This became one of the landmark discoveries in sarcoma pathology.

Ewing Sarcoma: Highly malignant small round blue cell tumor that usually  arises in bone and affects children and adolescents. It is strongly  associated with a characteristic chromosomal translocation. 🔹 Age Group ➟
