We live in today's world that has hardly any privacy. I feel the information that man possesses is in threat. One must thank the Digital life we chose to live in. Edward Snowden was one of the few who spoke of such a "Nothing Is Private" phenomenon.
One must expect the worse when such things happen. East Germany was one such state that lived in constant surveillance under the Stasi. The movie Lives of Others gives a blurry picture on Stasi atrocities. Stasis went beyond their way to deal with censorship. Currently we live in a sort of world run by Stasi Corp.
On the note of being passionate about ones interest is good. Although if private information becomes personal and people around you don't like what they see things can take a wrong turn. I saw a series MTV Webbed which talks about lives taking a wrong turn, thanks to social network sites. In today's world anybody and everybody has the power to be a Stasi. One has to be very careful in terms of intellectual property and personal information theft. I feel one cant do anything about it. One must try and protect himself from the bane of DIGITALISATION.
Usually many face the music of identity theft and fraud and there is nothing one can do about it. The damage is already done by the time one can know. The money which used to be in your bank account vanishes in thin air. There have been such cases happening more frequently than one can assume. If big production houses get their movies leaked before release then there is nothing a common man can do.
If the Witch hunt begins one will be definitely hunted.
