Time Capsule

Time capsules can be buried, sealed in a vault, or even shot into space. They can be regular old boxes, enormous vaults, or a simple letter. Time capsules can take so many different forms

Time capsules are placed with the intention that they will be opened or accessed at a future date.

The time capsule created by Westinghouse contains, a vial of staple food, crop seeds, a microscope catalog, dictionary, almanac, and other texts.

The capsules are meant to be opened in 6939.
