Mubaraka/Lipstick Under My Burkha

So i decide to watch random movies out of the Blue to do my research on Conflict.

I call it my very own Conflict Analysis.

I strongly believe that any and every Story told should revolve around Conflict.

Conflict is Gravity Of The Situation/Center Of Attention.

Our lives are nothing but a story which has to revolve around Conflict.

I watch Mubaraka and Lipstick Under My Burkha out of the blue and to my surprise it resonates to the conflict that i have to face on a daily basis.

Both the movies revolve around Man fighting himself on a daily basis.

Mans inability to rationalize the situations that we face in life automatically creates confusion. Once confused he/she automatically looses the ability to think. If one stops thinking the unfortunate result that is bound to happen will happen. It ends up most of the time ripping your life apart.

Mubaraka dealt with Man Made Confusion and so is Lipstick Under My Burkha. Both the movies dealt with man not knowing to proceed with the Double life he/she leads.

 Man Vs Self

Lipstick Under The Burkha deals well with Inner Conflicts

Woman have to fight with themselves on a day to day basis as the world of fantasy collides with reality. Fantasy eventually does not meet Reality in their lives. 4 characters in the movie were not able to deal well with their given life situation. Just like the movie many of us are in the same boat. Very few make it through to part where the coast is clear.

Leela: She does not want to get married to the guy picked out by her parents. She is forced into marrying someone against her will.

Shireen Aslam: She feels that she is not appreciated enough by her husband. She has to hide the fact that she is working as the man feels emasculated knowing about it. Has to live the life she does not want to be a part of.

Rehana Abidi: A teenage rebel who is caught up in the world of Fantasy. She has to be someone who she does not want to be.

Usha Parmar: A Older female who is caught up wanting to meet the biological needs of her body.

All the 4 characters in the movie are not able to rationalize their needs and desires which ultimately creates confusion. Confusion creates more confusion which eventually creates a mess in ones life

Things are the way they are and will not change
The only way to deal with inner conflicts is to deal with it appropriately as per the situation.
