Observed by the United Nations since 1977, November 29th is International Day of Solidarity With The Palestinian People.
United Nations Assembly adopted the resolution to partition Palestine and create an independent Jewish state on November 29th, 1947.
The event promotes Palestinian rights and encourages nations to give public support to the observance.
