Kepel (Stelechocarpus burahol) fruit has been known to have efficacy as an oral deodorant in Java Island, Indonesia for a long time.It is claimed that, after eating these aromatic fruits, one's whole body is permeated with the smell of roses. Another report says that all bodily excretions, including sweat and urine, smell strongly of violets

Medicinal: Fruit pulp used as a diuretic, to prevent inflammation of the kidneys, 

Also causes temporary infertility in women,  and used a contraceptive
