Matador: The Bull Fighter

A matador de toros (lit. "killer of bulls", from Latin mactator, killer, slayer, from mactare, to slay) is considered to be both an artist and an athlete, possessing great agility, grace, and co-ordination.

The style and bravery of the matador is regarded as being, at least, equally important as to whether or not he actually kills the bull.

Because of the decorations and elaborateness of the Matadors costume, the Spanish call the outfit as traje de luces, meaning the "Suit of Lights"    

The sport of bullfighting as practised in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Peru, France and other countries influenced by Spanish culture.

French matadors will often use the battle cries "ole" (in France) "allons" as means to antagonize and aggravate the bull. Such a battle cry is said to instill in the chosen bull such a feverish sense of anxiety that the spectacle will become much more fiercely contested.

The codename "Operation Matador" was used no less than six times by various armies and intelligence agencies.

The Book Of Revelation

The Book of Revelation in the Bible makes no sense to me. It sounds like a whole different world. Alternate reality is the best way to put it.  I have never been able to understand this particular book filled with Fantasy. Supernatural Season 12 Finale made me to think about Revelation/Armageddon and Apocalypse. I am a big fan of the sitcom Supernatural. The most important reason for me liking is that i find a lot of similarity with the show and real world i live in. People like me who have been indoctrinated with the story of God will love the entertainment quotient of Religion in this show.

 I understand the fiction of Supernatural, although i like to entertain the idea of Angels and Demons in real world. One who believes in Abrahamic religions has to deal with  Angels and Demons in real world. A lot of reference have been given to these entities in sacred texts. 

Hopefully one day i may understand what the book of Revelation is all about. Of all the books in the Bible this particular book is the strangest to me and many. I wonder why this book is included when it sounds all Greek and Latin to the reader. One would hope for the whole book (Bible) to be written in a similar manner. I believe it will save the world from a lot of trouble. The book  of Revelation has hardly any story line. It is a poorly written comic book is all that i can come up with. 

To understand this book i watched a Australian movie that calls itself  The Book of Revelation. Unlike the name this movie has got no Biblical reference. Only very few can deal with the message in it. 

Kaplan Meir Estimator: Survival Rate

Kaplan Meir came up with estimating the survival function from life time data. The data on murder and genocide over the last 20 th century has been appalling since the first murder documented in Historical records.
                                   

                






With the current data available one can easily determine Life expectancy in a Violent World. There have been many studies done on this. Crimes against Women (weaker sex) are exponentially much higher than men falling prey to it.












One can easily determine their life expectancy if one is born as a woman in countries with high crime rate against woman. I feel it is safe to assume that many woman wont go beyond 40 years of age. Those who fall victim to such atrocities cannot do much about it. Violence is hardwired in ones DNA in such countries.

With the current reality around me i can  predict my survival in this violent world given my colour and ethnicity. All the data points towards hate that people have against each other. The more the hate against any group the more the violent it can get. Jews suffered from antisemitism massively. If one is born as a Jew he/she knows their survival rate in this violent world.

Only if one takes appropriate measures he/she can avoid violence. There is nothing much apart from few things a person can do really. Eventually one will succumb to hate around us. All one can do is take adequate precautions and evaluate hate around you constantly.

I feel one can plot their own survival curve on taking adequate precautions compared to other fellow members while living in this violent world.



The Butterfly Effect

The Butterfly effect name and concept  was introduced by American Meteorologist and Mathematician Edward Norton Lorentz in 1960. He popularized the Butterfly effect after running/predicting weather forecast using precise variables. Observations were minute alterations of any given calculation wind speed and temperature caused dramatic changes in simulated weather predictions.

With this he realized that it is possible for one small change in a starting condition of an event such as the  Flutter of an innocent butterfly soaring through the sky to possibly cause a dramatic effect on the outcome of an event (Tornadoes on the other side of the world/Plane to experience turbulence).

Edward Lorenz was the first to introduce such a effect. Each path produces a different outcome. Every single event in reality is a result of a past action.
