Kaplan Meir came up with estimating the survival function from life time data. The data on murder and genocide over the last 20 th century has been appalling since the first murder documented in Historical records.
With the current data available one can easily determine Life expectancy in a Violent World. There have been many studies done on this. Crimes against Women (weaker sex) are exponentially much higher than men falling prey to it.
One can easily determine their life expectancy if one is born as a woman in countries with high crime rate against woman. I feel it is safe to assume that many woman wont go beyond 40 years of age. Those who fall victim to such atrocities cannot do much about it. Violence is hardwired in ones DNA in such countries.
With the current reality around me i can predict my survival in this violent world given my colour and ethnicity. All the data points towards hate that people have against each other. The more the hate against any group the more the violent it can get. Jews suffered from antisemitism massively. If one is born as a Jew he/she knows their survival rate in this violent world.
Only if one takes appropriate measures he/she can avoid violence. There is nothing much apart from few things a person can do really. Eventually one will succumb to hate around us. All one can do is take adequate precautions and evaluate hate around you constantly.
I feel one can plot their own survival curve on taking adequate precautions compared to other fellow members while living in this violent world.
