22-year-old Kalyan woman detained for killing husband
The incident took place on March 6 in Usha-Sadan Co-Operative Society, Kolsewadi, Kalyan East. Initially, Vrushali had told police that thieves had entered their apartment and killed her husband.
But after the postmortem report came, the cops learned that poison was found in Jagdish’s body. The body also had strangulation marks. The cops have said that in past Jagdish had experienced discomfort after eating food his wife had cooked.
After which the cops suspected that Vrushali may have tried to poison Jagdish. Later after questioned Vrushali several times, she confessed to having to commit the crime.
