Salivary/Facial/Abducens/Solitarus Nucleus To Geniculate Ganglion





L shaped collection of fibers and sensory neurons 

Geniculate ganglion receives fibers from

 Motor/Sensory and Parasympathetic components of Facial nerve



Geniculate Ganglion sends fibers that will innervate the 

Muscles of Facial Expresion 



along with 

Lacrimal/Submandibular/Sublingual/Tongue/Palate/Pharynx/Stapedius

External auditory meatus/Posterior belly of digastric/Stylohyoid



Clinical Significance: Geniculate Ganglion

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome
