• 2 oranges
• 100 g/3½ oz/1/2 cup caster sugar
• 90 ml/6 tbsp white wine vinegar or cider vinegar
• 125 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup Grand Marnier or orange liqueur
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
